I’m not really much of a macro photographer, or an insect fan for that matter, but these lovely close-up images were taken by my husband with the macro setting on a little point-and-shoot. Not at all sure what’s going on with the little red bugs… 🙂
As with many towns and cities here in the UK, the River Ness flows right through the middle of the City of Inverness, the Capital of the Highlands in North-East Scotland.
A group of small natural islands within the main body of the river linked by footbridges together create a lovely winding woodland walk across from one side of the town to the other enjoyed by kids and adults alike, and I thought I’d share some of the views here… 🙂
All of nature inspires me, but nothing inspires me more than walking in green spaces – woodlands, parks, tree-lined avenues – it calms me, soothes me, and keeps me safely grounded…
I was out for a walk in our local park the other day, and took plenty of photographs of multiple swans, ducks and geese, all perfect for this week’s challenge 🙂
Today’s walk in Wanstead Park, East London gave me a couple more images that fit this week’s Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: More Than Five Items – six swans swimming on the water, and five ducks sunbathing along the edge of the pond 🙂
