Blue wooden bridge…

This little blue wooden bridge at the boating lake at Regent’s Park, London, reminds me of Claude Monet’s many paintings of his Japanese bridge and water lily pond in Giverny, France – he painted the scene so many times over the years, each painting being somehow the same yet subtly different… I know there’s no lily pond here, but somehow it gives me the same calm, contemplative feeling overall as Monet’s beautiful brush strokes… bridge-regents-park
